Report from Charles Jameson.

I was asked by Josh Howard to interview Ms Edwards. She had called the Society and spoken to Jane Hawkins, another member of the team. I arrived promptly at the time agreed, and once the medium ( Nichola Walford) arrived, we began the initial interview.

Ms Edwards stated that she had experienced various phenomena during the time that she had lived in the house, which was a recent purchase. These phenomena included such things as: -

• Doors opening by themselves, including a kitchen cupboard, and the back door.
• The contents of the kitchen cupboard rearranging themselves.
• Small objects disappearing and then reappearing in different places.
• A loft hatch slamming down with no apparent cause.

Soon after I arrived I was witness to the apparent apport of a small china cat ornament. This was seen by the three of us to move from one side of the room to the other. It landed without breaking, and on inspection appeared to be very cold. To the extent that a layer of a frost like substance could be seen on the surface. I recorded the ornament using a digital camera, but the film of frost had dissipated quite quickly in the warm temperature of the room.

Mrs Walford stated that she could sense the presence of an elderly man in the house, and was concerned because she could also sense a great deal of anger in this spirit. She said that she thought he had died in the property, a news report on a possible connection to this story is available in our records.

I decided at this point that the rest of the team should now become involved with an investigation into the house, and a more in depth study of the phenomena that seemed to be occurring there.

In light of Ms Edwards experiences, locked off cameras were left in place in the kitchen, and another one focussed on the small ornament, which we replaced in its accustomed position.

Mrs Walford and I then left the property and agreed with Ms Edwards that we would return on the following evening (Friday).
